Ultimate G's: Zac's Flying Dream, Imax Theatre
5/6 - 6/29
Remember when you used to dream about being able to fly? The main character in this film is one of the people who have this dream. In the movie he goes from being a young boy trying to make hand-made paper planes to being a famous aerobatics pilot. The super-sized Imax screens show spectacular scenery as he pilots his plane above the Grand Canyon and into an exhilarating aerial dogfight. Another film, Space Station 3D, made with the support of NASA, will also be shown.

Matthew Barney: The Cremaster Film Cycle
Until 5/18
Matthew Barney is a present-day legend. He entered Yale University on an American football scholarship and went on to study art there while also working as a fashion model. In his twenties he won la Biennale di Venezia's Europe 2000 Award and the Guggenheim Museum's Hugo Boss Award, and most recently had a baby with Bjork in 2002. If it's appropriate to speak of a career peak for someone so young, his Cremaster series ('cycle' to the appropriately artsy) of five feature-length movies, is surely it. Cremaster, incidentally, is the name of the muscle that controls testicular contractions. Just as, before birth, the male sexual organs only gradually adopt the fixed position they stay in after being born, this film cycle concentrates on the beauty of sexuality's uncertain and shifting nature.

There's no doubting it. Rock radically redefined the world, influencing everything from design to morality, it was/is of revolutionary cultural importance. Here, old rock magazines and sleeves from classic records by Elvis Presley, The Rolling Stones, The Sex Pistols and more, fill the walls of this exhibition. Fascinating whether you're a serious student of sociology or just looking to loose yourself in nostalgia, real or imagined.
