Following Arashiyama Hanatouro held last December; you
can appreciate Kyoto atmospheric night lit up by lanterns
again. Due to the Hanatouro this year celebrating the 5th
anniversary, Shoren-in temple, Chion-in temple, Yasaka
shrine, Kodai-ji temple, Kiyomizu temple and so on hold
special events including concerts and traditional arts. As
Shoren-in temple, the historical camphor trees and fantastic
garden are lit to make a mysterious world from 6pm to
9:30pm. At Kiyomizu temple, the illuminated main building
of a temple known for a national treasure is picturesque
visitors can see a beautiful view from 6:30pm to 9:30pm.
In Yasaka shrine, in addition to the illuminated Nishiro-mon,
108 lanterns are lit from dusk till 9pm. The other temples
will be lightened. On roads connected between those
temples, you enjoy walking along flower arrangement and
