Feature : It cannot be understated how big a mess was left when the Great Bubble of the Japanese economy burst in the 1990s. The conglomeration, iron-fisted control and do-it-for-the-team work ethic that raised to the nation to lofty new heights after the war also brought her low at the end of the 80s, when overpricing, poor decision-making and - to put it kindly - questionable accounting methods wiped out savings, and the real estate market, and perhaps reintroduced the idea that doing everything for the team isn't always such a hot idea.
