On August 21st, Osaka’s house of House welcomes New York House legend Timmy Regisford. Mr. Regisford was introduced to the dance scene at an early age and became a regular at the notable Paradise Garage and honed his DJ skills. In 1991, he opened the Mecca of New York House Club Shelter to pursue the deep house sound and earned the title of ‘The Maestro’ with his inspiring weekly 12–18 hour set. Along with DJ-ing, he is known as a remixer and his extensive remix works includes the classics of Diana Ross, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight and Mary J Blidge to name a few. As an A&R Executive at Motown, MCA and Atlantic, he is always seeking new talent and currently he is developing his artist Quentin Harris with release on his own label Unrestricted Access. If you wish to touch the true New York sound, do not miss this night.
The Stockholm-based Iranian producer Aril Brikha is back in Osaka. He started making tracks at the age of 16 and had release
a numbers of tracks from the Swedish local labels which didn’t make him famous until Detroit techno legend Derrick May offered to release one of his tracks ‘Art of Vengeance EP’ from Fragile, the sister label of Mr.May’s own Transmat Records. Since releasing the career-making EP in 1998, he became one of the most wanted producers and he has toured solidly with his live show, playing everywhere from festivals like the prestigious DEMF (Detroit Electronic Music Festival) and the Labyrinth
to clubs such as London’s Fabric, Tokyo’s Womb and Osaka’s Onzieme. Catch Aril at Triangle and experience his driving trancy-techno sound.
