Operate a business or service in Kansai?
Running a small business is never easy, and not everyone has the budget for advertising campaigns. So follow these steps and make sure you are taking full advantage of all the ways Kansai Scene can help your business for free!
Get your business on Kansai Scene’s maps
First, register your business, service or attraction on KansaiFinder.com as a ‘Place’ to pinpoint your location and appear on our online listings. Registered places that are also distribution locations will then be considered for addition to the printed maps.
Note: Only listings falling within the boundaries of the existing printed maps can be considered.
Become a distribution location
We have recently put our distribution database on a diet, and optimised it for reaching visitors to Kansai first and foremost. Consequently, many language schools, private businesses and addresses, and other locations considered to not meet our distribution criteria will no longer receive the printed magazine.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause, but appreciate your understanding during the transition. With a limited number of hard copies, we need to prioritise distribution to those locations we feel provide the best exposure for Kansai Scene.
If you operate a hotel, guest house, tourist attraction or public bar or restaurant and would like to receive Kansai Scene, please send a distribution request through our website form.
Note: To guarantee you continue to receive a copy, we recommend taking out a personal subscription through our website, and have Kansai Scene delivered directly to your door each issue.
Get your bar/restaurant in Kansai Scene’s printed listings
The new format of Kansai Scene will feature an area-by-area dining guide. Only restaurants registered on KansaiFinder.com can be considered for listing within the printed edition of Kansai Scene, so make sure you are registered.
Restaurants, bars, cafes and other dining locations will then be selected from the Kansai Finder listings by area. A listing within the printed magazine is limited to 30 words and general location. No address or website will be published in print. Some lucky locations will be further selected to be reviewed. This is a free service and no guarantees of inclusion can be made.
Note: Selection is made at the discretion of the Kansai Scene editorial team and listings will change each edition.
