Welcome June, rain and music! Although June is the rainy season in Japan, back in France this month is all about music. June 21 is the first day of summer and also the World Music Festival. First launched in 1982 by a french minister, this event has become a worldwide day of music where everybody from amateurs to professionals is free to play in the street. In Kansai, you’ll notice impromptu music happening every evening close to big train stations like Umeda. We francophiles will be singing in the rain this month, so please join us at some of our fun June events:
