Two small-time con artists, Take and Tetsu, live together and constantly cook up ways to get money. They owe a loan shark, so their dream is to complete one big job, pay him off and end their criminal ways. Things get complicated when they meet Mahiro, a girl who was orphaned when they bungled one of their jobs. But she doesn’t seem to know who they are, thank goodness. They invite her in to stay, but soon her sister, sister’s boyfriend and stray cat also end up living with the failing crooks and getting drawn into their con jobs. Based on a novel by Shunsuke Michio.
