Biking Lake Biwa

On sturdy mami-chari (very basic push-bikes usually reserved for grocery shopping), Ryann and Felicity decided to bike around Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake. Overcoming weather, engineering malfunctions and clouds and clouds of bugs suicidally attracted to eye-balls, they completed their trip in 2 days and returned to tell the tale.

Ryann and Felicity of Where Next Japan took their sturdy mami-chari (very basic push-bikes usually reserved for grocery shopping) on the 230-km loop around Lake Biwa, Japan’s largest lake. The trip took two days, and was extremely tough, but the duo have no regrets! A must watch for cycling enthusiasts!
